With about 50 cases reported in the English literature, the
clear cell sugar tumor (CCST) is regarded as an extremely rare
mesenchymal tumor.1 In general, most CCSTs are benign. Nevertheless,
certain aggressive cases have been documented, occurring
almost exclusively in the lung. To our knowledge, studies to date
have reported only two patients with pulmonary malignant CCST
(MCCST).2,3 We present a patient case of MCCST of the lung
confirmed by pathology.
